Details on the 1990 Mazda Miata Raffle Car with a 1.8L swap!

We chose this Miata because of its racing pedigree.  Mark and Joyce Gleckler drove this exact car in OVR SCCA Auto Cross with tons of success. Mark had swapped in a 1.8L motor for an additional power bump over the factory 1.6.  To add even more power, he also installed a Jackson Racing exhaust header. To clean up the engine bay we added DM works cold air intake.

Car has a much newer 5-speed transmission and 4:30 torsion rear differential from a 2003 NB2 Miata. To put the power down to the road, the suspension features Racing Beat springs with KYB AGX adjustable dampening shocks.  Racing beat sway bars and end links help prevent body roll.  Power is transferred to the track through Dunlop Direzza Z2 ultra high-performance summer tires. (These may change in the coming weeks)

The interior features OEM seats and dashboard.  The car came with Hard Dog Hard Core roll bar and we replaced the soft top with a new Robbins Top.  The team at MWMP opted to keep things like power steering, power windows, and cruise control in the car to make summer drives all that much more enjoyable.
